This study will develop and test an iPad app designed to make it easier for Indigenous Australians to report on their drinking. When governments decide how to fund alcohol treatment or prevention programs, they look at how common a problem is. But there is no good data available on drinking among Indigenous Australians. Some experts say that the published data is ‘out’ by more than 700%. Communities and health services also do not have a good way of monitoring how well they are going with efforts to prevent or treat alcohol problems.
